REGISTRATION AND AUDITION

If you are a first-time student, register below. PLEASE NOTE: A non-refundable $20 registration fee is required for all new students. In addition, all first-time students must complete a video audition (upload to our registration form below). Auditions must be accompanied by a musician or a backing track. Auditions are conducted to evaluate skill level, determine class placement, and assess overall studio fit and acceptance.

YouTube Audition Video Upload Instructions:

Videos will need to be submitted via a YouTube URL link during the application process.

Please follow the step-by-step instructions below to ensure your videos are submitted properly:

  1. Create or Sign In to Your YouTube Account. Go to https://www.youtube.com/ and sign in to your personal YouTube account. If you do not already have an account, please create one. Creating a YouTube account is free.

  2. Go to YouTube Studio. Once you have set up your YouTube account, select your account icon in the top right corner and from the drop-down bar select YouTube Studio.

  3. Upload Your Video. Select the ‘Create’ button on the upper right corner of your YouTube Studio page, then click “Upload Videos” from the drop-down menu. Once your video is uploaded, select ‘Save.’

  4. Copy Your Video Link, and when filling out your UVA application, please paste the video links into the appropriate fields.

Share your TikTok video instructions:

To share a TikTok video using a link, you can easily grab its URL from the app and paste it into any message or platform.

  1. Open TikTok and find the video you want to share.

  2. Tap the Share icon (the right-pointing arrow) on the right side of the screen.

  3. Scroll through the bottom menu and tap Copy link.

  4. Go to the place where you want to share it, and paste the link.
